EDC is in charge of the execution studies relating to the works to protect a section of seaboard against marine erosion at Cap Zebib in the governorate of Bizerte.
This project concerns the work of:
- Execution of a rockfill dike for the protection of the existing slope, The coating of the upper part of the dike;
- Construction of reinforced concrete retaining walls;
- Installation of a riprap cord for the protection of the foundations of the retaining walls, the recovery and extension of the existing roadway;
- Execution of a rainwater drainage system for the paved area as well as the discharges necessary for the evacuation of this water into the sea;
- The execution of reinforced concrete stairs to allow visitors access to the beach;
finally The extension of the catchment pipes of the natural water sources, located in the section to be protected;
