EDC is in charge of the execution studies relating to the reconstruction of the docking quay of the old port of Ghar Meleh in the governorate of Bizerte.
This project concerns the following works:
- Dredging and preparation of a trench to house the support rockfill for the quay blocks.
- The installation of quay blocks measuring 2.00m x 1.50m.
- The pouring of the concrete of the crowning beam.
- The installation of a stone coating to maintain the same surface appearance with the different platforms.
- Treatment of the back quay by installing a shoulder, a geotextile, an embankment and a concrete screed.
- The creation of beacons along the quay at around 2m to prohibit the parking of vehicles as well as for quay N°1 to preserve it.
- The creation of a gutter in the rear quay screed to guide rainwater and evacuate it to low points.
- The creation of a new inclined plane designed according to the standards and rules in force.
